Flowers of the gulmohar,
are shed at long last.
Blood red, still so beautiful,
now etched into the past.
For one year they danced and sang
and brought merriness all around.
Now they lie yonder,
and adorn the holy ground.
The wind shall lift them now,
and hurl them into the sky.
Come hither! Go thither!
pleasing to the eye.
Spring will soon blossom,
and new buds will burst.
They will be beautiful too,
and that you can trust.
